We covered 2,713 miles in 12 days.
We traveled through 7 states, and not the wimpy ones! California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona (again) and back through California. We started at roughly sea level, ascended to about 6000 feet for much of the trip, but made it as high as 8000 feet a few times. We hit 6000 feet on day two and stayed above 4000 feet until we went into Sedona on day 10.
The trip was nearly flawless. Kerry’s Model A had one lose bolt and I had a radiator leak so minor I never refilled it.
